Nell'isola dei pirati informatici non ci sono sempre tesori. Parlando con gente del settore, produttori di applicativi europei non pirati, mi è stato più volte confermato che le famigerate trappole, quelle che scattano non appena si inizia a forzare una qualsiasi delle molteplici protezioni, sono tutt'altro che semplici voci! Nei programmi audio crackati, ad esempio, si tratta in primis di degradazione della qualità sonora, cioè le specifiche di rigore tecnico non sono più mantenute, il che, di per se, è già catastrofico, un'immensa frustrazione per chi, convinto di usare il miglior plug-in del pianeta a costo zero, si ritrova invece le stesse prestazioni del più casalingo degli applicativi o, nel peggiore dei casi, c'è chi, senza tanti scrupoli, ricorre a metodi molto più drastici, inserendo codice che danno per la stabilità del vostro sistema operativo, non scordiamoci che i plug-in vanno dritti al cuore del sistema, sia su Windows che su Mac OSX, un centro ne
